Artifact C-M-02, recovered from the Caldera Expanse excavation site of Obsidian-12A, bears the dark, metallic sheen of cooled volcanic stone. Its tall cylindrical walls flare outward at the rim, recalling the shape of ancient vessels forged for both ritual and survival in lands shaped by fire. The surface shifts between matte and faintly lustrous tones, echoing mineral deposits left in cooling lava fields.
