The first piece that sparked the collection. Its form leans into imperfection — a heart with a jagged split down the middle, like the classic image of one that’s been struck. When it was pulled from the wheel, the base had been accidentally cut through. Repaired and re-centered, it carries the mark of that moment in its foundation.
The exterior is a soft, matte black with a dusty rose rim. Inside, glossy glazes of blue, cream, and violet ripple outward from a dark center that resembles a wound — deep, still, and glinting under light. A study in contrast: exposed but intact, delicate yet grounded.
