Held Imprint

Held Imprint is a collection of stone-formed vessels shaped through contact. River stones are pressed into clay, leaving behind their contours and resistance. What forms carries both surface and record.

These vessels reflect how impact leaves form behind. What presses into the material and into us can become structure capable of holding beauty. 

The collection unfolds in three movements, each reflecting a different moment in that process. The initial impact, the return of light, and the way something integrates rather than disappears. These phases are expressed through three clay bodies: black, white, and brown, released over time.

Small by design, each vessel holds what remains. Rings, keys, and quiet objects, or nothing at all. Each piece is one of a kind, formed by a single stone and a single moment of contact. The imprint remains.
